The Ruby Neuron project has the main goal to create a pure Ruby framework to test, research and simulate artificial neural networks. All the code developed for the project will be free and released under GPLv3 license. In the long term, the intention is to make a connectionist artificial intelligence research group applying the most recent advances in real life problems of medicine, mechanics and economics, building a bridge between academy and society.
